Yay, I finally had some time to hide away in my studio and scrap and boy did it feel good!! I have been doing so much cleaning to keep the house ready for a showing at any time. No offers yet but it hasn't even been a week yet so I guess I am being a bit impatient. At least we have had people viewing it.
So here is little Thomas in the bath. Look at that cute little face! I used a combination of SassaFrass and October Afternoon papers. I wanted to use a yellow and blue colour combination because it is my favourite baby bath look and it matched the colors in the bath support perfectly.
I used Trisha's latest sketch #118 at Sketch Inspiration.
The corrugated circles were punched from a Starbucks coffee holder. I always save them now because the corrugation is so nice and thin! I was so happy to finally get to use this vintage card from the OA Ducks in a Row line. I drew lines around the edges to let it stand out a bit more.
I mounted these buttons on one inch circles of plastic packaging that I punched. I was hoping to give it a kind of bubble vibe. I got this idea from Aphra. One of her LO's for the April kit at the Paper Poppy Kit Company had little butterflies punched out of plastic packaging. They added a really neat dimension to the LO and what a great way to recycle and use up packaging!! I am very excited to receive my kit. The inspiration this month was amazing!!! I am making those clear butterflies for sure!
On the bird geek front, the Sparrows are in full mating mode this week. Always makes me happy because then I know that there will be little baby birds to enjoy very soon. Although, I have to say that sometimes it is almost embarrassing to look out my window. ;) I feel like I am intruding on a private moment. LOL It is so interesting to think that it has been a full two months that they spent feathering their nests before mating.
Hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying some wonderful warm spring weather. :)
Happy Scrapping!! Jen :)
