It's Here

Spring that is.  This morning I had my first official sign that it is clearly on it's way.  This couple was sitting out on the slough.

House hunters for sure.  Deciding where they will claim their spot and then wait for the ice to melt.

Then there was some discussion..... or should I say honking.

Then they spread their wings and flew away.

I hope they return.  I am excited to see this year's couple and offspring!

Happy Scrapping!!  Jen  :)

  1. LOL good thing you put more than 1 pic...I thought their bums were frozen to the ground there! LOL

  2. I love how you have captured the beginnings of the change of season. I hope they will be back soon.

  3. Greg and I saw a couple of geese by one of the ponds in our development yesterday too. :) We were out walking... they and a few ducks were sitting there. I can't wait to see the babies either. Brit said the other day, she can't wait for the MN zoo and their farm babies. I can't wait for the Fawn Doe Rosa to open up so we can go feed the deer, geese, ducks, llamas, etc.

  4. Ahhh. hopefully they nest nearby and you get those great pictures of the babies again!

I like the look of the Canada Geese but don't like the poop everytwhere...:(

  5. Our Spring looks much different down here in the South Jennifer!! :) It actually is already to look and feel like Summer in March!!

  6. stunning photos....sad for me it means Autumn is here and then Winter YIKES!

  7. Yay! 7 degrees here today. I'm loving it! Thanks for the sweet comments on my recent posts! Yes, my style has changed a little. I've especially been trying to use what you taught in your do-dad tutorial and I've been emulating your layering style. It's like I'm your groupie! LOL
