Stitching with "Stitched"

I'm still playing with Amy Tangerine's collection "Stitched".  I pulled some of the more feminine papers to scrap an old photo of my grandmother taken sometime in the 1950's.  It seemed like the perfect opportunity to hand stitch some flourishes.  And as is the norm these days, there are some touches of gold.






I used this sketch from PageMaps.


Now I'm deciding if it is time to put this collection away for some time and move onto something else.

  4. The gold picks up the background in your photo beautifully and I love that we can see it: I like to see all the extra bits in an old photo. Lovely.
